I worked as a Staff Experience Designer overseeing Conta Globo, a centralized identity ecosystem serving over 150 million accounts and 18+ million monthly users across 70+ touchpoints. I led a team of 14 designers to transform a fragmented, friction-heavy login process into a seamless Single Sign-On (SSO) experience.

By establishing design system patterns, mapping end-to-end user journeys, embedding accessibility (A11y), and strengthening cross-functional governance with engineering and business stakeholders, we dramatically optimized authentication performance between 2022 and 2025: our login success rate rose from 52% to 70% and time-to-login dropped from 31 to 15 seconds.

We then elevated the user's experience by rolling out passwordless Passkey authentication with device-native biometrics, redefining security and convenience at scale to reach an exceptional 98% success rate across 19 million unique users by March 2026.
